It’s almost August already – wtf? We’ve done a shitload of stuff; Nygård mending computers and the others boozing around. Well not exactly. I try to get my sunburnt ass moving and upload some shit in the near future.
Here’s a shot of a cool Sonisphere banner; as Anthrax were forced to cancel the rest of their shows this summer, we were chosen to replace them in the Finnish edition of the mighty Sonisphere festival. We also got our buddies Metallica in. Check out the pic. I hope the Lamb of God & Mastodon guys realize who’s the real boss around here! ;D

Some pics from along the road. In Ljubljana they had the best drink in this one bar called Pr’skelet: Sex in disabled toilet… Jussi having the time of his life with all the triumphant organizational shit… Hanu found a restaurant that met his high standards… And then he went to see some 3D images of cave formations.

A Finnish Vappu with Turisas… in Switzerland – Olli

We spent our day off in Switzerland, and it happened to be 30 April… In Finland we pretty much always celebrate the night before the actual ‘day’ (i.e. now 1st May), and of course did it in a traditional Finnish way. We even managed to purchase some balloons and vappu whistles. The video shows the glamorous start of the party, but as more people gathered to the buses and we got the vappu juice flowing, it became a proper scheit!
